ÂMathiyosi and Madurai

ÂMathiyosi which is getting ready for release is yet another film set in the backdrop of Madurai. However director Nanda Periyasami has a reason to justify his decision behind choosing the temple town as the movieÂs base.
ÂBecause my native is Madurai, itÂs the place where I was born and brought up. I wanted to add value to my film as well as my town and hence the decision to make the movie in and around Madurai, he says.
Starring newcomers Harish, Alex, Gopal and Vishak as heroes and Shammu in the female lead, Nanda Periyasami says, ÂThe movie is about a group of young boys, who lead a happy life until an event that changes allÂ.
Happy about the feedback he is getting for the movieÂs trailer and songs, the filmmaker says, Âmany of my peers are encouraging me a lot. They are impressed by the music (by Guru Kalyan) and promos. Hope the movie live up to the expectations.Â
P S Sekar Reddy has produced ÂMathiyosi under the banner PSSR Films. He had earlier produced ÂAmmuvagiya NaanÂ, the R Parthiban starrer.
